Insight Global Tax Manager in Mclean, Virginia

Job Description

The Tax Manager is part of an internal team with various responsibilities, including federal and state tax planning, strategic project management, collaborating on various compliance issues and implementing key process improvements within the tax department. A key part of this role is to work with our investor relations team to ensure timely and accurate financial and tax information to our stakeholders. The tax team collaborates across the organization to ensure risk mitigations and planning ideas are implemented. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Tax and is visible to the Director of Tax and CFO.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or Masters in Tax

  • At least six years of experience, at a public accounting firm or relevant industry (construction, private equity or real estate preferred)

  • Domestic partnership income tax compliance experience, federal and multistate. Experience calculating complex GAAP/Tax differences, partner allocations and understanding of Schedule M-3

Advanced Excel, GoSystems, ProSystems or similar platform Experience with ASC 740

SAP Experience

Knows research tax credit null
