The Senior Audit Associate is responsible for developing, implementing and managing audit engagements. The Senior Audit Associate will work with the client to ensure the various components of the audit engagement are performed.
What You Will Be Doing
-Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality
-Run client engagements from start to finish, which includes planning, executing, directing, and completing financial audits and managing to budget
-Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns on audit process and assess performance of staff for engagement reviews
-Research and analyze financial statements and audit-related issues utilizing electronic databases, and employ audit software to review and compile financial information
-Proactively interact with key client management to gather information, resolve audit-related problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements
-Gain comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives and utilize that knowledge on engagements
-Maintain excellent working relationships with staff members of the firm
-Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel
What You Need for this Position
At Least 3 Years of experience and knowledge of:
-Attained a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university
-Two years related Alternative Investments experience and/or training
-Certified Public Accounting license or working toward licensure
-Demonstrated computer skills and experience with accounting software
-Strong ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
