Electronics and Industrial Leveraged Analytical Sciences (E&I LAS) Group at Marlborough, MA is seeking a talented Analytical Scientist to provide analytical solutions to global E&I. The successful candidate is expected to work as part of cross-functional teams in support of E&I R&D, Engineering Sciences, Manufacturing, and Quality. This exciting position will be responsible for providing reliable and advanced analytical solutions using analytical techniques for E&I business growth.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Provide analytical solutions to support electronic material development.

• Method development/verification for new materials/products and method transfer from R&D to Manufacturing

• Collaboration with cross-functional teams (R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality)

• Prepare and maintain high-quality technical documents including analytical test procedures, method development reports, and technical findings.

• Incorporate and analyze analytical data from a variety of sources to creatively solve complex technical problems.

• Communicate results effectively to stakeholders and other interested parties.

• Collaborate closely with global technical experts and leverage technical expertise/specialty.

• Train and coach other associates and scientists to facilitate knowledge exchange.

• Ensure the accuracy of analytical reports and completeness of test requests.

• Troubleshooting and maintaining laboratory tools

• Fulfill all requirements of group, site, and company safety, ethics, and quality programs.

Qualifications:

• BS with 10+ years of industry experience, or MS in Analytical Chemistry with +5 years of industry experience, or Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Polymer Sciences, or related fields

• Strong experiences in SEC/GPC, GPEC, or 2DLC

• Experience in at least two of the following analytical tools: NMR, UPLC, GC, IC, CE, or ICPMS

• In-depth knowledge and extensive direct experience with a variety of small molecule, polymer, and formulation characterization techniques

• Ability to develop scientific approaches to solve complex technical problems.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to build relationships quickly and effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Initiative-taking, diligent, meticulous individual able to work in a fast-paced development environment.
