Description We are in search of an Audit Manager to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within the public accounting sector. The Audit Manager will play a critical role in managing assigned audit/assurance engagements, ensuring compliance with accounting, auditing, and tax regulations, and building strong relationships within the team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned audit/assurance engagements in coordination with the engagement partner to meet client deadlines

• Execute accounting and auditing procedures while adhering to all accounting, auditing, and tax regulations

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships within the team, potentially managing up to three staff members at a time

• Communicate assignment status to the team and ensure projects are delivered to clients in a timely manner

• Delegate tasks effectively, supervise team members, and provide on-the-job training and instruction

• Manage risk appropriately and ensure quality control procedures are executed on all engagement activities

• Develop relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact with senior management

• Utilize skills in Accounting Functions, Audit Engagements, Auditing, Compliance, and Financial Statement preparation Requirements • Must hold a role as an Audit Manager in the Public sector

• Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role

• Proficiency in Accounting Functions is necessary

• Experience with Audit Engagements is required

• Familiarity with Auditing practices is essential

• Comprehension of Compliance protocols is mandatory

• Expertise in analyzing Financial Statements is crucial
