Description We are offering a role in the manufacturing industry based in LOS ANGELES, California. The position is focused on Compensation & Benefits Specialist duties and requires skills in compliance, benefits administration, 401k - RRSP Administration, and data reporting. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and administer compensation and benefits plans

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation and benefits laws and regulations

• Administer employee benefits programs such as retirement plans, medical insurance, group life insurance, disability insurance, and other plans

• Conduct data analysis and reporting related to compensation and benefits

• Manage the administration of 401k and RRSP plans

• Use HRMS and other systems to manage compensation and benefits data

• Respond to inquiries from employees regarding benefits and compensation policies and procedures

• Participate in compensation surveys and analyze survey data to benchmark compensation and benefits

• Collaborate with HR and management to develop job descriptions and classifications

• Support the annual benefits renewal process and open enrollment. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Compensation & Benefits Specialist role within the Manufacturing industry.

• Proficient in Compliance, Benefits Administration, and 401k - RRSP Administration.

• Strong data reporting skills with the ability to analyze and present data in a clear and concise manner.

• Proven ability in managing benefits programs and ensuring compliance with legal regulations.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.

• Proactive in staying updated with the latest trends and best practices in compensation and benefits.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.

• Professional certifications in Compensation and Benefits would be an advantage.

• Proficient in using HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Strong analytical abilities to develop compensation and benefits strategies that align with company goals.

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
