CRIC Communications and Outreach Coordinator in LOGAN, Utah
Outreach and Communications (40%)
- Gather and organize stories and photos from staff, volunteers, and board members to be used in fundraising letters, grant proposals, presentations, reports, etc.
- Design, edit, and send regular email campaigns via mailchimp
- Manage photos on team drive
- Keep CRIC website updated
- Primary point of contact for public presentation requests
- Coordinate and/or attend tabling opportunities
- Oversee social media accounts
- Keep organizational data up to date on third-party websites
- Graphic design for all outreach materials (flyers, brochures, etc.)
- Ensure that all external documents follow CRIC's brand/style guide
- Responsible for promotional items such as T-shirts
- On-staff photographer
Individual Donation Management (30%)
- Enter donations into Salesforce
- Prepare and mail all necessary manual acknowledgement letters
- Work with finance to reconcile Salesforce and Quickbooks data quarterly
- Draft, design, and manage outgoing fundraising appeal letters
- Lead end-of-tax-year donation summary letter effort
- Coordinate with event managers as needed for auctions, sales fundraisers, or other efforts that include individual giving
- Provide support and tracking for major gifts solicitation by ED or board, as needed
- Primary point of contact with individuals interested in holding third-party fundraisers
Event management (25%)
- Primary coordinator for all fundraising events
- Organize World Refugee Day and other program events
- Attendance at all events
General (5%)
- Respond to general inquiries (or forward as needed) by phone and email
- Respond to inquiries about in-kind donations
Required Qualifications
- Strong writer and editor
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Highly organized
- Comfortable with new situations and new people
- Comfortable giving public presentations
- Comfortable with learning online databases and other applications
- Culturally sensitive
- Computer proficient, including Microsoft Office and Google applications
- Ability to manage multiple competing deadlines
- Ability to maintain confidential relationships
- COVID-19 vaccination (proof required upon hire)
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- Marketing and public relations skills
- Event management experience
- Graphic design experience
- Experience working with multicultural populations
- Experience with donor management, design, websites, and databases
- Experience working with refugee or immigrant social service programs
