Korte Company, The Preconstruction Estimator in Las Vegas, Nevada
The Korte Company is seeking an Estimator to join our Preconstruction Services Department in Las Vegas, NV. This position will be responsible for providing accurate and precise estimates for our projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid history in a similar position with documented successes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Completing quantity surveys
- Understand project scheduling in order to provide input to project management
- Subcontractor coordination
- Reading and understanding job bid instructions
- Preparing an accurate project estimate
- Conceptual Estimating from preliminary project parameters
- Understanding timelines and applicable project deadlines

EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE
Qualified applicants will have experience in the following:
- Post-secondary degree from an accredited university in Construction Engineering, Construction Management or other field relevant to the position
- 5-10 years in the construction industry
- 5 years experience in bidding projects while keeping appropriate profit margins
