Description We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Specialist, to join our team in the Manufacturing industry, based in Lansing, Michigan. This role involves working with accounting software systems, handling billing functions, and managing accounts receivable. The employment opportunity offered is short term contract.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize accounting software systems to manage accounts receivable.

• Handle billing functions to ensure timely and accurate invoicing of customers.

• Manage accounts receivable, ensuring all outstanding invoices are paid in a timely manner.

• Use Microsoft Excel and other Office Suites to maintain and analyze financial data.

• Process checks and manage cash activity to ensure accurate and timely payment recording.

• Resolve customer credit inquiries, providing excellent customer service.

• Monitor customer credit accounts to identify delinquent payments and take appropriate action.

• Utilize SAP for various accounting functions.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records, updating information as necessary.

• Assist with other accounting functions as needed. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suites

• Familiarity with various Accounting Functions

• Solid understanding and experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

• Proven experience in handling Billing Functions

• Ability to manage Cash Activity efficiently

• Experience in Check Processing operations

• Proficiency in using SAP software for financial operations

• Relevant degree or certification in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Proactive and a strong team player.
