Sr Audit Manager needed for Public Accounting Firm (flexible remote schedule) - Lake Oswego, OR
Job Description:
Developing and understanding of client's business
Lead audit and other assurance engagements
Provide timely and superior-quality services exceeding client expectations
Identify additional areas of service and planning opportunities
Maintain relationships with key business contacts and clients
Pursue new business development
Develop skills for reviewing audit and assurance engagements
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
TOP “MUST HAVE” REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 7+ years of Public Accounting experience
• CPA or CPA Eligible
• Specialization in specific areas such as: audit/single audit, non-profit, employers benefit, ect
• Experienced in corporate tax prep/planning and initiative to gain experience with tax returns
• Experience with Tax/Audit software
• Proficient with Excel and other Microsoft software applications
• Must be in geographic region for occasional in-office meetings if needed
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Applicable or equitable amount of total experience
DISQUALIFIERS
• Sr Level or lower – Not CPA eligible
• Manager – No CPA or EA
• Do not have relevant public accounting experience within the last 2 years
• Not a team player or willing to help contribute to the development of other and the growth of the organization
PREFERRED “NOT-REQUIRED” QUALIFICATIONS
• Active Oregon CPA certification
• CHH ProSystem software experience
• Fixed Asset Software
• Experience working within a mid-sized or large sized firm
• Experience working with construction or non-profit client base
• Experience with client acquisition
