Description

We are seeking a Product Director of Financial Services in the retail food store industry, located in Irving, Texas. The successful candidate will be accountable for leading the strategic direction and advancing all aspects of existing and future Financial Services, with a focus on innovation, continuous improvement, and platform development. Responsibilities:

• Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and platform development of financial services

• Develop and refine strategies based on emerging trends and customer insights

• Work cross-functionally with the broader merchandising team to align strategies and priorities

• Hire, train, direct, and coach a high-functioning team of financial services professionals

• Understand and bring forward new services that delight the customer

• Engage proactively with Operations and Field Merchandising leadership to ensure alignment towards key strategies, tactics, and initiatives

• Leverage category and vendor support to drive education and alignment towards initiatives

• Troubleshoot issues, and receive feedback from Field Operations to incorporate into continuous improvement and broaden the strategic vision of plans

• Utilize business intelligence systems, such as Microsoft Power BI, to drive decision-making and strategy.

Requirements

• Must have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the retail, food store, and/or fintech industry

• Proven experience in innovation strategy and platform development

• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement in an organization

• Experience in financial services, particularly within the retail or food store industry

• Strong understanding of merchandising strategy

• Proficient in using business intelligence tools, particularly Microsoft Power BI

• Must have excellent communication and leadership skills

• Bachelor's degree is required
