Oracle IT Manager in HYDERABAD, India

Job Description

The OCI Enterprise Engineering organization is seeking a manager to lead a business operations team. The team will include Technical Project Managers, procurement, vendor management, budget, and licensing management staff responsible for smooth internal and external operations of the organization.

Managing the team will include close collaboration with multi-functional counterparts to deliver an outstanding user experience, consistently seeking innovative ways to deliver improvements, and providing leadership and decision making. Strong written and verbal communications are required. This work includes executive communication.

This manager will be part of Enterprise Engineering: a focal point for technologies to improve end-user and customer productivity and experience, and products to support the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure ecosystem. Enterprise Engineering is undergoing transformation across people, process and technology areas to modernize the cloud and services-based organization, using highly scalable, multi-tenant tools and distributed applications, demonstrate our own powerful cloud technologies and industry leading product lines to modernize environments. Responsibilities:

  • Lead a global team Technical Project Managers, Technical Project Managers, procurement, vendor management, budget, and licensing management staff providing exceptional and secure end-user business operations and technical experiences for employees and customers.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and partnership are required.

  • Maintain and evolve end-user compute standards, processes, and standard execution of tasks.

  • Collaborate with customers to define the strategic direction, implementation, collaboration and productivity.

  • Strong affinity for process, metrics, and automation to help drive experience improvements.

  • Oversee execution of projects and other related initiatives through all stages of development and implementation

  • Proactively seek and communicate opportunities for improvement in both the operational and customer satisfaction aspects.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Working knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux variants !

  • Familiarity with standards and security expertise.

  • Analytical thinking, organizational skills, flexibility with the ability to handle, prioritize and lead multiple tasks.

  • Strong time management skills, organization, and the ability to balance high quality work standards against time constraints.

  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and able to effectively translate technical subject matter into everyday language

Requirements:A degree in a relevant technical field (Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems)3+ years experience leading an employee technology engineering team. 10+ years technical experience working in operational roles.
