Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Quality Data Analyst, you are responsible for providing ongoing support for corporate/division/facility Clinical Quality Informatics projects related to the electronic health record (EHR) and the Clinical Excellence quality agenda.

This role is the key facility resource that is responsible for delivering the successful implementation of clinical quality informatics initiatives. They are responsible for coordinating the completion of project assessments, parameter settings, and assisting with the development of education/training materials. This individual participates in the company-wide community for CPOE, EBCD, and works with their division peers to ensure clinical quality informatics applications are well supported throughout the facility. The role is responsible for ensuring ongoing training, support and refinement of clinical quality informatics, Meaningful Use initiatives, publicly reported metrics, as well as additional support for clinical quality applications throughout the facility. Additional responsibilities will include any upgrades and applications as they are implemented.

What You Will Do In This Role:

  • You will support of facility-wide standardization, utilization, integration, and optimization activities related to the EHR and other clinical informatics initiatives.

  • You will compile, analyze, and report clinical quality informatics data to drive quality and performance improvement.

  • You will audit and prepare reports of the electronic health record using tools for data collection and reporting of CPOE, PDOC, and other EHR projects.

  • You will collaborate with the Director Clinical Informatics, Service Line Directors, and front line staff on clinical quality initiatives to advance the Clinical Excellence scorecard.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, clinical degree preferred with strong healthcare facility experience.

  • Master Degree preferred ideally with focus on Health Informatics

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Clinical/Healthcare Informatics, clinical applications support, or equivalent preferred
