GAI Consultants is seeking a Senior Project Engineer with 8+ years of experience in developing roadway design projects for PennDOT. This position will have a flexible hybrid schedule working in our Cranberry, PA office. We'd love the opportunity to get to know you! Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Supervising entry-level EITs and CAD staff. Leading the design and technical direction for roadway transportation projects. Deliverables may include Reports, Contract Drawings, Special Provisions, Specifications, Permits, Quantities, and Opinions of Probable Cost. Leading the coordination with interfacing disciplines. Maintaining proficiency with engineering software. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the budget, schedule, and quality of Tasks and being up to speed on regulation changes and agency protocols and requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor's (B.S.) degree from an accredited college in Civil Engineering (M.S. degree a plus) Professional Engineering license required (or have the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire) PA Required, OH, or WV a Plus). Knowledge of applicable regulations. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment and work independently as needed on project-specific tasks. Ability to be efficient in planning and organizing workload. Dedicated commitment to performing quality work with a positive attitude and work ethic. Knowledge of MicroStation and its use to generate roadway drawings.
