Duties: Utilizes data analysis tools, visualization techniques, and finance metrics such as ROI, IRR, and NPV to drive strategic decision-making and influence business outcomes. Quantifies outcomes, analyzes logistical processes, recommends improvements, and applies continuous improvement methodologies using business process design tools. Supports the development of business cases, delivers projects, demonstrates functional knowledge, effectively communicates ideas, presents to teams, actively listens, and provides constructive feedback. Understands financial data, identifies cost drivers, develops business cases, and integrates diverse automation subsystems such as conveyor systems, sortation systems, WCS, and WMS. Automation Integration and Project Management: Manages project performance, documents implementation plans, works on technology interfaces, and ensures effective integration of diverse automation subsystems. Identifies roles and responsibilities, integrates new team members, seeks guidance for long-term development, and collaborates with stakeholders to achieve business goals.Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering (any) or related area; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Engineering (any) or related area and 2 years of experience in engineering, supply chain, or related areaSkills required: Experience implementing Automation Systems using Project Management. Experience designing process flows using MS Visio. Experience evaluating finance metrics including Return on Investment (ROI), Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and budgeting techniques including Net Present Value (NPV). Experience conducting Data Analysis and Data Visualization using Excel and Power BI. Experience implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies using Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Continuous process improvement (CI). Experience with AutoCAD to design storage systems, conveyance, sortation, and packaging system for a distribution center. Experience working in PLC, SCADA, and Conveyor flow programming using SIMIO. Experience conducting workflow analysis using Process Mapping. Experience integrating diverse automation subsystems including conveyor systems, sortation systems and Warehouse Control System (WCS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS). Experience collaborating effectively with technical cross-functional teams including Product teams, warehouse operations, IT, engineering, and transportation. Experience developing queries to retrieve data from multiple databases using SQL and R. Experience building mathematical models. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
