Intel Construction Progressive Build Project Manager in Hillsboro, Oregon

Join our Intel Fab Construction Enterprise (FCE) in building the world's largest semiconductor manufacturing factories across the globe. The future is what we build. Our enterprise manages a portfolio of capital projects on-site with a large contractor workforce that encompasses outsourced general contractors, A/E Architecture and Engineering firms and key trade companies in the Semiconductor Construction Industry. The scope of our work includes but is not limited to progressive build, new factories, site infrastructure and tool install.

This is an on-site position at the Ronler Acres campus in Hillsboro, Oregon and relocation assistance will be provided. Training assignments at other domestic or international locations may be required.

As a Progressive Build Project Manager your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Partner successfully with key stakeholders including factory staff, Logic Technology Development, Portland Technology Development, facility system owners, global supply management, central design and site construction and suppliers.

Own and manage day to day construction operations and execution, including Safety, Quality, Schedule, Budget and overall performance of the project.

Translate business and technical requirements into high quality Designs that enable biddable, affordable and constructible solutions.

Develop world class supplier partnerships with leading sourcing and procurement solutions and deliver continuous improvements in business results, quality, schedule and cost.

Lead and successfully manage a wide spectrum of Construction projects to enable Intel businesses including new Fab modules.

Perform fab conversions and special building projects as we transform to a Data Centric company.

Foster innovation and transform traditional construction practices by driving new methods and engineering solutions by leveraging industry insights to Intel's multidimensional challenges.

Ensure that sustainability and other enabling capabilities are adopted to deliver innovative breakthroughs.

Help transform to an organization that is lean, efficient and collaborative.

Build and drive safety Culture of Caring in every business environment, office to the construction sites, and from front-end planning to construction execution.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must possess at least one of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or similar discipline with 4+ years of experience in Project Management, Design Manager, Engineering Manager, Construction Manager or equivalent construction leadership expertise.

  • Master's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or similar discipline with 3+ years of experience in Project Management, Design Manager, Engineering Manager, Construction Manager or equivalent construction leadership expertise.

  • 7+ years of experience in Project Management, Design Manager, Engineering Manager, Construction Manager, Project Engineer, Superintendent or equivalent construction leadership expertise will be considered in lieu of a degree.
