Position Summary

As Senior Full-Stack Developer, you will use your experience in working on building identity, authentication and federation applications using the latest cloud technologies and development methodologies. As part of the Digital Enterprise, you will be part of a team responsible for design & development activities associated with enterprise-wide applications for CVS Healthcare Identity Management domain, such as Microservices, Docker/ Containers & CI/CD in cloud native environments, as well as, working with on-premise applications and converting them to the cloud with the latest technologies.

In this position you will partner and collaborate with the engineering manager, business analysts, architects, quality assurance, business partners, developers, and project managers to effectively translate the business requirements and architectural designs into engineering components. You will also be involved throughout the entire development life cycle of a product and must be able to deliver an efficient solution, as well as identify and properly mitigate any risks to the product before deployment to production. Your main focus will be on the Back-end, however, you should be comfortable with the Front-end.

Work with Product Owners and Scrum team to effectively translate the business requirements and architectural designs into engineering components to produce defect-free, thoroughly tested features

Write code, develop software components, and implement complex functionalities according to product requirements.

Collaborate across a cross-functional development team and stakeholders to make high-level architectural decisions, propose design patterns, and ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability of digital solutions.

Leverage advanced programming skills to design and implement complex features, optimize performance, and ensure code efficiency.

Integrate various software components or systems, ensuring seamless communication and interoperability between different parts of the digital solution.

Write and execute comprehensive test cases, conduct code reviews, perform debugging, and troubleshoot issues to ensure the reliability, stability, and high quality of digital solutions.

Participate in SAFe agile or other development methodologies, attend meetings, contribute to project planning, and help drive the progress and success of digital projects.

Explore new tools, frameworks, and techniques to improve digital solutions and drive innovation within the development team.

Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, architecture diagrams, code documentation, and other relevant documentation while sharing their knowledge and expertise with team members, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and collaboration.

Prefer ideal candidate to be located in Hartford , CT location, however may consider other Digital office locations /remote/hybrid model .

Required Qualifications

5+ years enterprise / web / cloud applications software development experience

5+ years experience in Developing Java applications in Spring boot, Spring MVC

3+ years experience in Creating Angular / React JS UI Applications

5+ years of experience in Building APIs and services using REST

5+ years of Working knowledge with functional, imperative, and object-oriented languages and methodologies

5+ Automation technologies (e.g., Maven or Gradle, Jenkins, etc.)

3+ Building, testing, and deploying code to run on cloud infrastructure

3+ years of experience in Scrum/Agile development methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent verbal, written communication, and collaboration skills

Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills

Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills

Exposure to product/services development and public cloud environment like AWS/GCP/Azure

Education

Bachelor degree from accredited university or equivalent work experience(HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$97,335.00 - $201,900.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
