DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities The Site Superintendent is responsible for the scheduling, monitoring and controlling of the work of site personnel, equipment and subcontractors to achieve the objectives of the project within the scope of work assigned. S/he works closely with the Project Manager to execute the project plan and achieve maximum performance in an efficient manner. The Site Superintendent is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of craftsmanship for installed scope of work within the execution of the project schedule, while ensure safe working practices in accordance with the Schneider Electric safety policy.

PRIMARY DUTIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily. 1. Manage project site safety * Ensure all personnel and subcontractors are familiar and adhere to Schneider Electric safe work practices * Coordinate all safety meeting and job box talks * Review completion of job hazard analysis before all work begins * Ensure all personnel and subcontractors wear the proper personal protective equipment for all required job tasks * Ascertain that the project is secure after each shift and all tools, equipment are returned and secured for customer occupancy 1. Responsible for site management of all subcontractors on all facets of their work and personnel * Obtains, organizes, and maintains all project quality assurance documents * Manage the installed quality of all scope of work disciplines, including but no limited to: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, lighting, envelope, roofing, information technology and telecommunications * Maintains, monitors and controls the plans, specifications and submittals for all scopes of work assigned 1. Execution of the Project Management Plan within the constraints established by the Project Manager and Project Sponsor * Review project plan, properly layout project tasks and work with customer on scheduling tasks * Manage project schedule * Coordinate and facility access requirements with customer to ensure project execution * Communicate with project team regarding RFI's and Material Submittals. * Provide information to Project Manager to update Project Management Information System with weekly project status and required information 1. Participate in project coordination meetings for customer and subcontractors * Provide project/scope status updates to customer on completed work * Provide project/scope schedule and coordination for upcoming work planned * Take meeting minutes and distribute to all parties in attendance in alignment with Project Management Plan * Coordinate required inspections with Authorities Having Jurisdiction 1. Continually identify and proactively manage scope risks & issues, ensure execution of corrective action plans up to closure. * Bring any issues, risks or concerns to the project manager immediately for mitigation plan * Document all risks and issues in the Project Management Information System * Gather project material submittals and maintain records of approvals at the job-site. 1. SCOPE: Ability to manage and oversee scope activities for medium to large sized scope and moderate/advanced complexity. Will include the management of multiple scopes of work on a project. 2. Additional duties may be assigned.

Additional responsibilities may include, not limited to: * Build and maintain good relationships with inspectors, engineers, subcontractors and client representative connected with the project * Drive cost-effective project management techniques and strategies in the field * Participate in customer training on scopes of work * Participate in field audits and related analysis and results and performance assurance of installed systems * General scope of work applications as needed within qualifications to perform scope of services

Education/Certification Required: 2-year college degree or techn cal degree, and/or Experience Required Experience Required: 4+ years of equivalent work experience preferred. This role requires the ability to demonstrate experience and independent responsibility with high confidence in construction management field.

Skills: Natural problem solver and active learner Strong communication (written and verbal) and project management/organization skills Ability to travel greater than 75% to project sites. Normal work schedule is Mon-Thurs/Fri depending on project requirements. Special project circumstances may require additional working hours on weekends; however, this is typically scheduled in advance. Good understanding of HVAC, electrical systems and control systems Ability to understand HVAC drawings, electrical drawings, scope of work documents and schematics Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to, Word and Excel Strong basic math skills Ability to thoroughly understand and follow plans and specifications in the construction of a project Passionate about customer service and team success

While performing the primary functions of the job, the employee is regularly exposed a general office environment. During periods of project site visits, the employee will be exposed to outside weather conditions as well as mechanical equipment rooms, which could consist of confined spaces and loud noises. Employee may work in different environments while on various job sites. This job requires work to be primarily performed on project sites and thus will require greater than 75% travel to project sites. Normal work schedule is Mon-Thurs/Fri depending on project requirements. Special project circumstances may require additional working hours on weekends; however, this is typically scheduled in advance. . Travel will occur using an automobile or by airplane to destinations.
