About the Role

The Shelling Plant Superintendent drives continuous improvement and optimization of all processes. They oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. They develop processes that will maximize safety, quality, and productivity. The Shelling Plant Superintendent plans, organizes, directs, and runs optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers expectations. [Responsibilities [Facility]{lang="EN-GB"}]{lang="EN-GB"}

  • Knowledge of equipment for purchase, installation, and repair; coordinate equipment maintenance and repair services to keep production equipment operational, minimizing downtime.
  • Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising safety and product integrity.
  • Evaluate quality control processes; make recommendations for improvements.
  • Inspect products for quality and accuracy prior to shipment.
  • Ensure, enforce, and keep up to date on all industry standards for health and safety guidelines.

Candidate Requirements

Proven work experience in the peanut industry

Prior work experience as a Plant Superintendent leading teams of 10 or more employees preferred.

Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise.

Knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, and inventory processes.
