Job Description:

Crowe's Midwest offices provide tax services to a broad range of clients in a number of industries, including Consumer Markets, Food & Commodities, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Metals, Private Equity, Supply Chain, and Technology. As a Tax Manager, you will provide tax consulting and compliance services to a diverse client base within a variety of dynamic industries. Tax consulting includes performing tax research, working with clients on tax matters and implementing special projects. As a specialist in your role, you will work directly with clients and work with tax engagement teams. Your role will include identifying and implementing tax planning, preparation of tax calculations and management of client relationships. Responsibilities will also include actively participating in recruiting and the development of staff in a highly interactive team environment. The ideal team member will have strong communication skills, the ability to lead multiple projects and meet deadlines. Bachelor's degree in accounting, MST I a plus CPA Required 6+ years of experience in public accounting or corporate/public blend Proven leadership skills in developing and managing client services teams Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and interactive team environment Exceptional client service and communication skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships Possess effective writing, communication, and tax research sill Experience with tax technology is a plus Research and consult on tax matters Open to hybrid work arrangement
