A Construction Project Cost Manager/ Engineer is needed for a leading Construction Organization in Fort Wayne, IN. The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee and manage all aspects of project cost control, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project objectives.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in project cost management for large GC or industrial construction projects. Proficiency in cost estimation software and advanced spreadsheet skills are essential. Excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders are also required.

responsibilities:

  • Track and manage Change Order Requests and Subcontractor Change Orders, ensuring accurate pricing and alignment with project schedules

  • Attend and facilitate weekly design alignment and change management meetings, updating relevant logs and documents accordingly

  • Review and verify Sub's Change Item Logs, ensuring accuracy and timely incorporation into project billing

  • Manage General Conditions/General Requirement spending, tracking against budgets and providing accurate cost projections

  • Ensure all financial tracking tools, including HELIX and Procore, are updated and synced regularly, and verify accuracy of cost dashboards and KPI reporting

  • Review and approve all invoices in CMiC, ensuring accurate code allocation and budget maintenance
