About the Position: The incumbent serves as Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS), G4/6, Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist. This position is within the U.S. Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command. Their mission is to provide World Class products and logistics support. Responsibilities Oversees logistics administration including inventory management, acquisition, space management, supply economy, warehouse management, accountability, and equipment utilization. Reviews IT programs to assess systems performance, compliance with IT plans and policies, and alignment with business requirements. Serves as principal advisor on all managerial tasks and customer support issues and resolutions. Performs acquisition of IT assets and services to ensure requirements are met. Plans, directs, and controls the work of senior Information Technology and Logistics Management Specialists engaged in a wide spectrum of technical functions. Develops policy, plans, procedures, and functional directives that are concerned with materiel management and distribution and related strategic planning functions that have command and agency-wide applications Prepares solicitation packages (to include Statements of Work, etc.) for contracts.
