About the Position: The incumbent serves as Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS), G4/6, Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist. This position is within the U.S. Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command. Their mission is to provide World Class products and logistics support. Responsibilities Oversees logistics administration including inventory management, acquisition, space management, supply economy, warehouse management, accountability, and equipment utilization. Reviews IT programs to assess systems performance, compliance with IT plans and policies, and alignment with business requirements. Serves as principal advisor on all managerial tasks and customer support issues and resolutions. Performs acquisition of IT assets and services to ensure requirements are met. Plans, directs, and controls the work of senior Information Technology and Logistics Management Specialists engaged in a wide spectrum of technical functions. Develops policy, plans, procedures, and functional directives that are concerned with materiel management and distribution and related strategic planning functions that have command and agency-wide applications Prepares solicitation packages (to include Statements of Work, etc.) for contracts. Oversees the Customer Support and logistics programs. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03 grade level in the Federal service which includes: Executing logistics support programs to include the integration and in-depth analysis and assessment of the functional requirements. Evaluating logistics programs ensuring conformance with DOD and Army regulations and command procedures. Providing expertise in the coordination of technical system architectures and infrastructure of Information Technology and Knowledge Management within the organization. Supervising the work of subordinates and sets goals for accomplishing. Providing functional support of enterprise standard procurement system and preparing solicitation packages for contracts. Monitoring all administrative activities involving funds, property, and equipment This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/ level position in the federal service (NH-03). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Information Resources Management (IRM) Information Technology Policy and Planning Leadership Planning and Evaluating This is a High Level NH-04 in AcqDemo. This position is not subject to a salary control point and is eligible for the full salary range of the NH-04 payband. If the incumbent's salary currently exceeds the stated salary control point the incumbent's salary control point will be set at the incumbent's existing salary. The incumbent must be prepared to support the MICC Continuity of Operations (COOP) Program and OPLAN by moving to and operating from an emergency relocation facility as a member of one of the commands COOP Support Teams. These non-routine office duties may include short notice travel, 24-hour on-call or exercise duties and the requirement to support COOP operations for a minimum of 30 days.
