Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Description

We are in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The primary functions of this role involve data entry of Accounts Payable invoices, reconciling ledgers, and working with various teams to resolve any discrepancies. This role also requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail additionally any experience within real estate, property management, or condominiums is highly preferred. The role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handle data entry of Accounts Payable invoices accurately

• Reconcile ledgers and resolve any discrepancies that may arise

• Work closely with other teams to ensure smooth operations

• Make deposits and post checks into the system as necessary

• Handle customer inquiries regarding their credit applications

• Maintain and update customer credit records consistently

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary actions for delinquent payments

• Use MS Excel to perform some tasks, including possibly handling some payroll tasks

• Respond to calls from associations and conduct investigations when necessary

• Use the TOPS system to post entries and invoices (training will be provided).

Skills required:

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiarity with TOPS software

• Proficiency in MS Excel

• Experience in Bank Reconciliations

• Experience with Check Deposit and Check Runs.

Please note: Bilingual proficiency is a plus for this role.
