Description

Robert Half is looking for the best Sr Product Marketing Manager for our premier client. You’ll have the opportunity to build the Product Marketing function. This involves defining the scope, alignment on key performance indicators (KPIs), and imagining the function based on current internal and external situations. You’ll own the essential aspects of product marketing, including: Positioning and Messaging: Crafting compelling messaging that resonates with users. This position is located in Folsom, CA.

  • User Personas: Understanding the target audience and creating user personas.

  • Product Launches: Planning and executing successful product launches.

  • Competitive Intelligence: Keeping track of competitors and market trends.

  • Segmentation: Identifying and targeting specific customer segments.

  • Product Discovery: Contributing to product discovery efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Data-Driven Insights: You’ll inspire action through data-driven insights, leveraging market research, testing plans, and other relevant data. Your goal will be to drive teams to execute with operational rigor and efficiency.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You’ll partner closely with various teams, including Growth Marketing, Product Management, Research, Brand, and Creative. Ensuring successful product launches and ongoing marketing support for new products will be a key part of your role.

  • High EQ and Partnership: As a cross-functional leader, you’ll need to demonstrate high emotional intelligence (EQ) and collaborate effectively across all functions. Leveraging relationships with Intuit companies will also be important.

    Requirements

Education

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline is often required.

Experience

  • Product Marketing Experience: Significant experience in product marketing is essential. Candidates should have a track record of successfully launching and promoting products.

  • Leadership Experience: As a senior leadership role, candidates should have experience managing teams and leading cross-functional collaboration.

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the financial services industry and understanding of consumer financial products is highly valued.

  • Start-up or High-Growth Experience: Experience in a start-up or high-growth environment can be advantageous.

  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial for creating compelling messaging and collaborating with various teams.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans aligned with business goals.

  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Proficiency in analyzing data, drawing insights, and making informed decisions.

  • Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

  • Market Research: Understanding customer needs, competitive landscape, and market trends.

  • Project Management: Effective project management skills to drive successful product launches.

  • Emotional Intelligence (EQ): The ability to navigate complex relationships and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
