Project Engineer, Automation Krauss-Maffei Corporation seeks a Project Engineer, Automation in Florence, KY. Job Duties: Conceptualize and develop industrial automation engineering solutions for customers, leveraging standard linear and industrial robots to improve the efficiency of machines and systems for producing and processing plastics and rubber. Advise domestic customers, and Spanish-speaking customers in Mexico, on technical requirements for automation engineering projects. Develop and lead linear robot and industrial robot presentations to domestic sales and project management teams and customers, and Spanish-speaking sales and project management teams and customers in Mexico. Prepare automation engineering proposals for domestic customers, and Spanish-speaking customers in Mexico. Generate dimensional drawings for automation engineering solutions. Manage automation engineering projects and work with domestic sales representatives, and Spanish-speaking sales representatives in Mexico, as the technical intermediary between customers and design engineers. Identify new opportunities to propose automation engineering solutions to customers. Telecommuting is permitted up to three days per week. This position requires 20% travel, including 16% domestic travel to customer sites in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S., and 4% international travel to customer sites, conferences, and other KraussMaffei Group locations. Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Mechatronics Engineering or Automation Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or closely related field of study.
