Job Description
The position leads and manages the margin analytics and HQ functions for the North America Chemical and Monitoring Solutions (CMS) by directing the preparation and presentation of financial planning processes. The finance manager reports to and supports the Business Unit CFO in strategic decision making through the monitoring of business and performance indicators, support functions, and supply chain teams to drive profitable growth. The position will work with the finance function on simplification, digitization and other initiatives to drive productivity and execution rigor while ensuring appropriate controllership and compliance with the business policies and procedures. This position is a key contributor to defining and implementing change management initiatives and margin improvement.

Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare and coordinate with the various cross functional teams the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the organization strategy and goals
Monitor and report on key financial metrics and key performance indicators, while identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Effectively communicate and present critical financial margin metrics to the company management team or other stakeholders.
Conduct financial analysis and modeling on various initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and provide guidance on risks and opportunities to execute business decisions
Detailed cost analytics around standard costing, margin by customer/product, region etc. to enable comprehensive view of profitability of business unit. Analyze key variance drivers and recommend opportunities for improvement.

Education & Experience
Required:
College degree in Finance or Accounting.
10+ years of progressive experience in Finance and/or Accounting
Significant achievements in analyzing complex financial data and issues.
Preferred:
SAP / Tableau experience
MBA Preferred
Prior Chemical / Manufacturing industry experience a plus
Experience with standard costing preferred
Working Conditions
- Annual travel 10%
