Our Client, a leading innovator in automotive seating, is searching for a qualified Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and completing repairs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks according to established schedules and procedures.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues.

• Repair and replace equipment parts to ensure optimal functionality.

• Respond to work orders for breakdowns and repairs on the production floor.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts replaced, and equipment condition.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

• Work collaboratively with other maintenance team members and production personnel.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment (automotive Tier 1 experience a plus).

• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment.

• Understanding of preventative maintenance principles and procedures.

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance:You'll likely be tasked with performing preventative maintenance (PM) procedures on production equipment. This could involve tasks like:

• Lubricating machinery

• Replacing filters and belts

• Inspecting for wear and tear

• Following established PM schedules and checklists

• Repairing Equipment: Identifying and troubleshooting malfunctions in equipment. This may involve electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic repairs. You might fix the equipment yourself or recommend repairs by a specialist.

• Work Orders: Responding to and completing work orders for repairs or breakdowns that arise on the production floor. This could involve troubleshooting, repairing, or replacing parts.

• Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities performed, parts replaced, and any notes about equipment condition. This might involve filling out reports or using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

• Safety: Following safety protocols and procedures to ensure your safety and the safety of others on the shop floor. This may involve wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and lockout/tagout procedures when working on machinery.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working up to 4 hrs of overtime per week
