Collins Aerospace is looking for a Quality Engineer II. This role is an individual contributor within the Collins Aerospace Everett Landing Gear facility in Everett Washington. You will support Operations Quality and the Program Quality and/or Quality Systems work scope.

This position works Onsite in Everett, WA.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and audit First Article Inspections (AS 9102).

  • Facilitate non-conforming part and quality clinic processes through documentation and interrogation of potential non-conformances.

  • Coordinate with related Collins Aerospace locations on product quality items.

  • Achieve and maintain MRB QA designation in support of non-conforming parts process.

  • Lead cross-functional quality investigations and corrective actions through utilizing structured tools to drive to aligned outcomes.

  • Support Escape Management process by identifying scope, coordinating containment activities, and supporting corrective action measures.

  • Facilitate calibration system and coordinate calibration events with outside vendors.

  • Support upkeep of site processes through review, update, and creation of requisite documentation.

  • Collect and analyze non-conformance and quality trend data to identify continuous improvement activities.

  • Support site continuous improvement system and lead continuous improvement events.

  • Support record retention process as a Documentum system administrator.

  • Achieve and maintain AS9100 internal auditor authorization and support the site Internal Audit program.

  • Support Program Quality processes to ensure compliance to customer requirements and resolution of customer identified concerns.

  • Support the Quality Management System to maintain adherence to AS 9100, One Collins QMS, and other applicable requirements.

    Qualifications/ Experience Needed:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

  • Knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AS9100 internal auditor training.

  • Six Sigma certification or equivalent.

  • Experience as a MRB QA authorized individual.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
