SUMMARY

Circuitus Energy Solutions (CES), based out of Englewood, Colorado, is seeking a Site Superintendent to provide direction and oversight on all phases of construction for commercial and utility-scale solar PV projects. An organized, accountable individual with electrical experience and an effective communication style is required. The Site Superintendent will be responsible for key construction activities such as management of materials, management of multiple scopes of work at once and daily reports to the Operations team. The Site Superintendent will align individual and team objectives to company goals. The objective in hiring for this position extends beyond role specific requirements as CES is looking for innovative, self-driven team members to collaborate in building a healthy work environment.

Strong leadership and visionary skills are a must. This position will involve critical input to the business direction on all levels with a focus on management and helping to grow the team and structure. The Site Superintendent will report to the Field Operations Manager and Project Manager, working closely with the Field teams, as well as subcontractors, and vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include the following:

Manage and coordinate all subcontractors and suppliers as well as supervise project assistants

Inspect subcontractor's installed work holding them to the company's high level of quality standards and rejecting any poor craftsmanship

Collaborate with the project team to troubleshoot and innovate solutions to construction questions

Coordinate with structural engineers and building inspectors to attain inspections and approvals throughout construction

Maintain good morale onsite by treating workforce with respect, good communications, and effective leadership

Excellent communication with the management team including schedule critical path concerns and material shortages

At project completion, ensure that the detail finishes are up to the company's standards including coordinating punch work, protection of finished product, and completion of quality control documents

Maintain safety, cleanliness, and security protocols on job site

Supervise field teams of all skill levels including apprentice to licensed electricians

Manage field team of 4 -20 individuals in various different scopes of work

May act on behalf of the Project Manager when that person is absent

Conduct job walks and project updates with the Operations team

Assemble information, analyze data and provide detailed recommendations on construction methods and strategies, long range schedules and/or training requirements

Ensure appropriate training of subordinates, including career development

Coordinate recognition and discipline

Collaborate with subordinates, peers, and management regarding daily work activities

Facilitate the availability of proper resources, tools, vehicles, materials and other equipment and vital training conducive to providing a safe working environment

Mentor crew members, and continue the practical education and development of personnel by exposing them to activities, tasks and duties that will enhance their skill level, as well as build upon those skills they already possess through crew assignments and scheduling of work

Conduct performance evaluations, develop performance expectations, and provide developmental feedback and training

Assure all safety bulletin/issues are understood and create full compliance

Assure periodic safety meetings are timely and of quality content

Use Smartphone application to check daily/weekly job assignments, tasks, and ove all project plans for each work site assigned

Assist Management Team with project planning and developing site logistics; then oversee the details of each project plan on assigned projects
