Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Analyst to join our Production Control Team located in Elkridge , MD.

The ideal candidate is a self-driven problem solver. Employee will support the Troy Hill Shipping process consolidating shipment requirements across RMR, Production, Spare, Depot, and other shipment types providing status and ensuring program requirements are met to the highest quality standard. They will work closely with Shipping Management, Operations Program Management, Inspection Management, Quality and Program Offices, executing deliveries, troubleshooting issues, and improving processes.

What You'll get to Do:

  • Aggregate shipping priorities across various shipment methods of Production, Sustainment, Depot, etc. using program forecasts, contractual delivery information, sales objectives, or other prioritizations

  • Understanding and articulating upstream deliverable requirements highlighting risks to achieving on-time delivery

  • Comprehensive understanding of program deliverable requirements in terms of shipment type/Sales Order, dimension, transportation requirements, and packaging

  • Collaborating with Packaging Engineering and Shipping Team assessing packing materials & packaging instructions necessary for upcoming deliveries

  • Providing status on units deliveries in shipping queue & facilitating problem resolution on Shipments

  • SAP metric maintenance, i.e. open delivery and open container reporting, and floor stock inventory control

Basic Qualifications for Manufacturing Analyst:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of relevant experience; Master's Degree with 1 years of relevant experience. 5+ years of relevant experience years of experience in Lieu of a degree.

  • Experience working with a cross functional team

  • Minimum 1 year of SAP/ERP or other related systems experience

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Level Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications for Manufacturing Analyst:

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, or other closely related area are preferred

  • Active U.S. Secret Level Security Clearance or higher

  • Proficient in Operations Business Systems (SAP preferred)

  • Experience in MRP and Production Control

  • Self-Motivated Individual with strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and PC computer skills

Salary Range: $68,800 - $103,200

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
