We are seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager to join our team in the Dublin, OH office.

As an Environmental Project Manager at Verdantas, you will play a crucial role in managing multidisciplinary teams on a number of fast-paced, diverse projects, supporting environmental due diligence efforts. You will have the opportunity to oversee and coordinate all phases of projects while maintaining a technical role on the project team. Project experience will include scoping, and reporting for Phase I/II ESA’s, due diligence investigations, remedial investigations, cleanup plans, and more. Responsibilities:

  • Lead safety culture within the project team or unit, including following safety protocols for all projects

  • Manage diverse, fast-paced projects involving multidisciplinary teams

  • Develop and maintain client relationships as primary or secondary client contact for projects

  • Lead selling and cross-selling efforts; (Geotech, Property Condition Assessments, Wetland, Landfill, Civil, Survey)

  • Lead in the development of strategy, scope of work, and budget for projects

  • Track work progress relative to project schedules and budgets

  • Actively manage project metrics, WIP and AR

  • Supervise and provide work assignments to the project team

  • Prepare, provide technical input, and/or review reports

  • Maintain overall project quality consistent with company and professional standards

  • Interact with regulatory agencies knowing what information to provide, when, and with appropriate internal or client review.

  • Plan and execute own work tasks, as well as oversee tasks of team members, to meet project deadlines

  • Solve problems creatively and effectively and make informed decisions

  • Collaborate across multiple disciplines and with clients to articulate and achieve project goals

  • Mentor staff in required technical skills

  • Communicate effectively and proactively with management, peers, and clients

  • Complete tasks efficiently and within the allowed budget

  • Possess detailed knowledge of regulations in the area of practice

  • Motivate and encourage others and help the team achieve success

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology/Hydrogeology, or Environmental Science from an accredited institution

  • 7-12 years of Environmental Project Management experience

  • 3 years of consulting experience, preferred

  • Experience applying federal and state environmental regulations

  • Certified Professional Geologist (CPG), preferred

  • Must possess a valid driver's license
