Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with national accounts by telephone and written correspondence to attempt to bring resolution to unpaid or delinquent accounts/invoices

  • Ability to manage a high volume of transactions via computer programs through third party paying systems to determine payment status of delinquent, unpaid invoices and make appropriate corrective action.

  • Effectively work with rate analysts, account managers and customer contacts to resolve issues and identify needed action for payment resolution

  • Ability to evaluate and identify billing issues and process corrections through appropriate systems

  • Provide thorough, efficient, and accurate account updates on computer files for each contact made

  • Ability to provide solid business recommendations on delinquent accounts in order to minimize credit risk

  • Provide feedback to management concerning possible problems or areas of improvement

  • Make recommendations to implement improved processes

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
