Description

Our company is seeking a skilled upper-level management individual to join our client, a Private Equity Firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing critical insights and analysis to support operational decision-making and strategic planning. Supporting a Sr. Managing Director, you will work closely with operations leaders, providing them with valuable data for reviews and aiding in the achievement of goals and objectives across various portfolios. Your role will involve delving into the details of operational performance, identifying areas for improvement, and tracking cost-saving initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Compilation for Ops Reviews: Gather and consolidate data from various operational sources to facilitate reviews with leadership, ensuring the availability of relevant information for informed decision-making.

  • Setting Goals and Objectives: Collaborate with stakeholders to establish clear goals and objectives for each portfolio, ensuring alignment with overall organizational targets.

  • Detailed Analysis: Dive deep into the second-level details of each portfolio, conducting thorough analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement.

  • Issue Resolution Support: Proactively identify and address operational issues in businesses by extracting and analyzing portfolio company-level data, aiming to mitigate issues before they escalate to formal reviews.

  • Cost Savings Tracking: Monitor and track cost-saving initiatives across operations, providing regular updates on progress and identifying opportunities for further savings.

  • Status Tracking and Issue Analysis: Keep track of the status of various operational items and conduct detailed analysis on identified issues, providing insights and recommendations for resolution.

  • Meeting Management: Facilitate operational meetings, including preparation of agendas, recording meeting minutes, and ensuring timely follow-up on action items.

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.

  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

  • Business-oriented mindset with a deep understanding of operational dynamics and key performance indicators.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, with experience in extracting and manipulating data from various sources.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.

Ideal candidate will have some experience within a large public accounting firm with mergers and acquisitions experience- back office.
