Sony Pictures Entertainment Senior Manager, Licensing & Consumer Products in Culver City, California

The Senior Manager, Licensing and Consumer Products is an integral member of the Game Shows Consumer Products Team. The Senior Manager will grow the nation’s leading top two shows, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! brands across softlines and hardlines with the goal of exceeding revenue targets and growth objectives. This person will act as the key liaison for licensees, as well as work across various departments within Sony.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Act as steward for Sony’s Game Show brands

  • Have a solid understanding of the licensing industry with deep relationships with industry leading partners

  • Identify, research, pitch, and secure new business opportunities

  • Act as the resource for key categories. This includes developing a thorough understanding of the product line, the market, competitors, and all capabilities of the licensee

  • Review licensee proposals and negotiate key business terms

  • Analyze quarterly revenue reports and lead forecasting

  • Support VP of Licensing and Consumer Products on business planning, strategy, forecasting, and new business development

  • Build strong relationships across the organization

  • Maintain and present regular updates and status reports for department meetings

  • Maintain licensing database and trackers

  • Develop a deep understanding of Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! to grow overall business and engage fans

  • Perform other duties as requested

Requirements:

  • Computer Proficient: Office, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet

  • BA/BS in business or marketing

  • 7+ years of directly related experience with licensors across major categories including hardlines and softlines (board games, collectibles, apparel, consumables, and home décor)

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Must be highly organized

  • Collaborative within a cross-functional team environment

  • Self starter, proactive, dependable and flexible

  • Effectively responds to pressure or crisis situations and acts professionally.

  • Must possess a “can-do” and “will-do” attitude

  • Positive energy level and enthusiasm for the iconic Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! brands

  • Ability to anticipate issues, be proactive and problem solve

  • Familiar with pop culture and current entertainment
