Job Summary

Serves as the initial contact for our sales agencies to assist with products, systems, and solutions issues. Takes ownership for assuring that issues are resolved timely and effectively for the customer directly and involving partners in the company for an effective resolution.

This position is first and foremost a key frontline service element of Acuity Brands, with emphasis on customer satisfaction, responsiveness, fiscal responsibility, commercial sensitivity, and timeliness.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of processes and electronic information for troubleshooting guides, communication and information sharing procedures for historical product and application resolutions (40%)

  • Document field labor claims and replacement fixture or parts data. Facilitate negotiation for field labor within guidelines and initiate customer payment process for approved field repair work using standard work guidelines (35%)

  • Utilize LEAN tools to improve processes, communication and resolutions for Acuity Brands products, systems, and solutions to drive improved customer satisfaction and a reduction of quality costs (25%)

Experience Required

  • Experience working with customers, demonstrating an ability to effectively resolve customer issues

  • Interpersonal skills for communication and negotiation

  • Computer competence and familiarity Microsoft Office programs

Experience Preferred

  • Lighting experience preferred

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in work experience

  • Electrical or electronics background

  • Bilingual Spanish a plus

  • Remote working experience

  • Customer Service orientated

Travel Requirements

  • 1-20%

The range for this position is $43,100.00 to $96,700.00. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
