POSITION SUMMARY

The pharmacist is responsible for the daily operations of the pharmacy as well as the provision of clinical pharmacist duties for patients.  The pharmacist is responsible for medication procurement and distribution to meet the patient’s needs. He/She will also be responsible for providing direction to the pharmacy technician staff as well as other members of the health care team.  The pharmacist will work collaboratively with other PRH team members to promote the safe handling , storage, distribution, and administration of all medications.  The pharmacist will provide consultative services to the medicals staff and will provide support, education, and training to the clinical staff.  He/She will work with the Vice President of Patient Care Services , Pharmacy Manager , and the other pharmacy staff to ensure compliance with all regulatory and health and safety standards. 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION

• Graduate of an accredited pharmacy Program

• Valid Wisconsin pharmacist license

• CPR Certification

• Computer knowledge

FTE: 1.0

Shift: Monday-Friday 6:30am or 7:00am-3:30pm. Weekend (Saturday/Sunday)/Holiday 7:00am-1:00pm. Roughly every third weekend.
