Computer Operations Support Analyst (COSA)

Opportunity to support a program helping to support the warfighter and safety of the Untied States

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Pay: $85K Based on Experience

Job Description:

Entry-level to experience, but still a learner typically

with an advanced degree and 0-1+ year experience or bachelor's degree and 0-3+

years experience or equivalent; solves problems of limited to moderate scope

and complexity, work is closely supervised following established policies and

procedures or under very general supervision; contacts are primarily with

immediate supervisor and within company or group but may be external as well;

errors in judgment would normally require a moderate expenditure of resources

to rectify.

Technical Skill Required:

Sound background and experience with operations and

maintenance of large-scale computer and communications systems/networking

environments. Sound background and experience in system and/or network

administration could include the following (Linux, Windows, Nutanix cloud

infrastructure, MDA CLAN, and DISA EM network usage). Sound background and

experience in troubleshooting hardware and software components using bash/pearl

scripting or Ansible. Sound background and experience in data flow usage and

ability to troubleshoot with DISA and MDA network connectivity. Proficiency in

Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Background Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related

discipline or equivalent experience/combined education, with prescribed years

of professional experience. Must meet and be current with DoD 8570 IAT Level II

certification requirements (Security + CE, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CND, CCNA

Security). The candidate will maintain DoD 8570 certification for the full

contract period. Computing Environment requirements will soon be required. Minimum Active DoD Top Secret

Clearance.

Position Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be part of a team that reports

to the O&S Leadership and performs daily system monitoring, operations, and

maintenance of the multi-classified domain systems in a 24x7 operations

and test environment. The candidate will provide first-level technical support

to the warfighter and perform initial troubleshooting of all local hardware,

software, and networks. The candidate will document and report all

events/issues using Atlassian Confluence and Microsoft Office products to the

O&S Lead and receive tasking and direction from the O&S Leadership for

all operations, test & real-world events. The candidate will also assist in

all hardware/software installations as directed by the local SMEs. Performs

other duties and assignments as required.

The position requires rotating 24x7 shift work at a steady

state but not initially. Candidate will be assigned to a shift and assignment

to be determined by mission requirements. Some substitute rotation during

off-shifts, including nights and weekends, will be required when the time
