Job Description Summary: The Project Construction Manager is responsible for leading the Team of Field Project Manager in charge of supervising field activities of Airgas' Capital projects. A key measure of success is to ensure that the projects are constructed on time, within budget and to the quality specified in scope documents. He/She will take an active role in managing construction as well as managing the Airgas Field Project team. To provide leadership and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with and to ensure full and transparent alignment with all those involved in the project (including AL CIAM, AL E&C, Execution Partners, internal project stakeholders, etc.) To ensure that each individual and group involved in the project understands their respective responsibilities, accountabilities and deliverables To interface with external partners (e.g. EP/CM Alliance Partners) and drive success with schedule management, cost control, purchasing of equipment and materials. Manage the construction of small capital projects and work with the business development team to make recommendations as to the best on-site solutions Develop construction management plans Ensure that the construction process is well managed and meets the needs of the projects Support the project managers ensuring that the construction is planned and executed in a timely and safe manner, and within budget. Required Qualifications 15 years experience of progressively responsible industry experience in Project Management required BS in Engineering/related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Previous direct management experience Capital project experience in the $1-$80M range.
