Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Charlotte, NC.

Job Role and Responsibility:

Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., Technology is seeking a Senior Software Engineer acting in the highest level technical role as an individual contributor for the most complex computer applications and initiatives utilizing a thorough and functional understanding of available technologies and tools including but not limited to Linux, Java, Oracle, Pl/SQL, Autosys, Shell/perl scripting. Work on multiple projects of the highest complexity concurrently the Enterprise Collections and Recovery (ECaR) system serving multiple business units. Responsibilities include providing leadership, strategic/tactical direction, validating customer requirements, work with various technology partners, work with system architects to understand different technology solutions, providing technology recommendations, perform detailed and through analysis of existing code, documenting functional system design, preforming coding, document and execute complete unit test plan, identifying and managing development tasks, providing test support, document implementation plan and supporting post production deployment. Analyzes highly complex business requirements and has the ability to write a complex functional system design to meet business requirements. Develop new documentation for departmental procedures, training and user guides. Assures quality, security, business continuation plan and compliance requirements are met and documented for supported area. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

Required Qualifications :

A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, management information systems, information technology, or related technical field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving software engineering experience.

Specific skills required:

  • 5 years of information technology systems design and planning experience; in data, systems, applications, or architecture;

  • 5 years of experience writing relational database queries for stored procedures, query optimization and performance tuning;

  • 5 years of technical design experience;

  • 3 years of experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies;

  • 2 years of experience using Enterprise Collections and Recovery System (ECaR);

  • 1 year of Autosys experience;

  • 1 year of MongoDB experience;

  • Cloud services such as AWS or Azure, Java, JSON, Maven, Oracle, SVN, UNIX experience;

  • Microservices, REST, Apache Kafka, GIT, Jenkins, SOAP, and REST web services experience; and

  • Spring Framework, Apache Tomcat, J2EE, Software Development, SQL experience.
