We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in Carrollton, GA. As a Forklift Operator, in a lumber yard, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations by safely and efficiently handling materials and products within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.

salary: $15 - $15.01 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

As a sit down forklift operator, you will unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and load them onto assigned locations. You will also locate and move products on pallets or create pallets for storage or shipment Daily tasks also include Identifying damages and reporting shortages or quality deficiencies.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
