Key responsibilities for this role include:

The Senior Director, Global Tax Strategy and Risk Management will report to the Head of Global Tax.

Provide tax advice and guidance throughout the M&A process, including structuring transactions, assessing tax implications, and evaluating tax consequences; lead and coordinate tax due diligence efforts for potential M&A activities, including identifying tax risks, opportunities, and potential impacts on the organization; collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and strategize tax-efficient integration plans post-acquisition.

Manage and oversee tax audits, disputes, and controversy matters with tax authorities; develop and implement strategies to minimize tax controversies, including proactive tax planning, documentation, and compliance; act as the primary liaison with external legal counsel and tax authorities, ensuring effective resolution of disputes and representation of the organization's interests. impacts are properly modeled.

Provide oversight and guidance to transfer pricing group, developing appropriate transfer pricing policies and ensuring implementation of policies.

Tax strategy and risk management support responsibilities include playing an integral role in forecasting the tax impact (ETR and cash) of M&A activities, other planning activities, tax legislative changes, and tax audit/litigation; liaise with financial accounting to ensure M&A and transfer pricing initiatives are properly reported for financial statement purposes; assist with information gathering required for M&A and transfer pricing initiatives. Work with the team to help manage the effective tax rate by identifying appropriate strategic opportunities. Review and monitor changes in local and foreign tax legislation, rulings, regulations and litigation. Understand the relevant impact, recommend and implement responsive action to manage existing positions and capture new opportunities.

Leads a team of experienced and diverse tax professionals responsible for strategizing, implementing and supporting global tax objectives, while ensuring regulatory compliance and business competitiveness within a fast-moving environment and flexible hybrid work arrangement but also supports key stakeholders as an independent worker.

Drive and manage change and understand the importance of delivery within our results-oriented organization.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required. Master's required with specialization in Taxation preferred. CPA License or JD highly desired. Related experience and/or education may be considered.

18 years of experience with Corporate Tax Planning, M&A and/or Transfer Pricing preferred.

Big 4 Tax and/or multinational public company Tax experience required.

Proven track record of working close with various groups within a corporate structure including treasury, finance, legal, operations, etc.

Strong communication (verbal and written), presentation, project management, and business development skills.

Must demonstrate solid organizational skills, be willing and able to manage multiple projects with varyin deliverables and work well as a team partner in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

Must be able to creatively research, analyze, and conclude specifically assigned US international and foreign tax issues with minimal supervision.

Strong track record of problem solving and strategic/creative thinking skills.

Proven track record of leadership in mentoring staff and developing strong relationships with non-tax business personnel.

Previous supervisory experience required as this role will manage a team.

This role will have hybrid flexibility and may require periodic travel.

Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is $151,000 - $314,000.
