We are seeking a skilled IT Project Manager to lead a range of projects from conception to completion. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. You will also oversee the quality control throughout its life cycle.We are seeking a skilled IT Project Manager to lead a range of projects from conception to completion. You will also oversee the quality control throughout its life cycle. Role Responsibilities • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders with clarity and timeliness. • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis with a regular cadence. • Accurately estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. • Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary. • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. • Track and communicate project milestones and deliverables. • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team resources. • Effectively lead project team to success, readily identifying and resolving issues and conflicts. • Monitor and assess the performance of service providers and team members. • Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. • Develop and share best practices and tools for project execution and management. Qualifications • PMP or equivalent project management certification strongly preferred. • Minimum of 5 years of direct work experience in an IT project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution. • Demonstrated experience with project management software, such as MS Project, Basecamp, or similar. • Technically competent with various software programs, such as Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite. • Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products. • Able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies. • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. • Willignness and ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. • Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently. • Flexible during times of change. • Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines. • Leads and participates on teams with influence, encouragement, and motivation. • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including senior leadership, clients, and other teams. • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Strong interpersonal skills. • Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies. • Unwavering commitment to delivering quality results.
