PNC Software Architect (IBM AE/IBM MDM OOTB Data model) in Brock, United States

As a Software Architect within PNC's Enterprise Technology's MDM organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH or Dallas, TX or Birmingham, AL. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.

Role Description:

As IBM MDM Advanced Edition (AE) Senior Developer, you will participate in all aspects of IBM MDM AE program delivery including technical design, development, estimation, documentation, testing, and deployment. You should have strong and relevant experience in IBM MDM product customization space.

Mandatory Skills:

Required minimum of 5+ years professional experience designing and developing IBM MDM Advanced Edition (AE). Hands-on multiple implementation experience

• Working knowledge of IBM MDM OOTB Data model, services, and other product features

• Hands on experience with IBM MDM Customization using features which include Additions, Extensions, Composites, Business Proxies, Business rule validations, External Rules, SDP, Standardization Adapter, Notification, Batch Processor modules in IBM MDM

• Required development background with RSA/ RAD, MDM Workbench, WebSphere, SOAP Web Services, XML, XSD, WSDL

• Working knowledge of GIT and other DevOps tool

• Intermediate knowledge of SQL

• Experience working with WebSphere Application Server and Oracle DB

• Good oral and written communications and presentation skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as an IBM MDM Advanced Edition (AE) Senior Designer / Developer.

• Lead technical planning and development including estimation, development, testing, UAT support.

• Guide the team on IBM MDM AE product capabilities, OOTB data model and services.

• Develop and customize IBM MDM AE components - Additions, Extensions, Composites, Business Proxies, Business rule validations, External Rules, Standardization Adapter, Request Response Framework, Batch Processor modules in IBM MDM

• Build integration solution with IBM MDM AE product using SOAP and REST interfaces.

• Automation of CBA and asset deployment

• Participate in DevOps and CICD related activities.

• Participate in production incident analysis and issue resolution.

Products and Services – Knowledge of major products and services and product and service groups; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

Service Oriented Architecture Technologies – Knowledge of the technologies used to enable excellent IT service for business clients; ability to develop, implement and support a variety of such technologies.

Software Process Improvement (SPI) – Knowledge of formal software process improvement disciplines, and ability to assess and improve the quality and operating costs associated with an existing application.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
