Responsibilities

Reporting to the Asia Geozone IES (Interpretation and Evaluation Services) Manager, the candidate will be responsible for well log QAQC, processing and interpretation of data acquired from cased hole instruments and presenting the results to customers and/or sales engineers.

The candidates main job function will be in the processing and interpretation of casing and cement evaluation data and other Petrophysical measurements. They will also be responsible for generating final log plots, reports, conversion of data into other formats and archival of completed work

• Provide logs QAQC, processing & analysis on casing and cement evaluation Wireline well log data.

• Provide Interpretations for corrosion or other casing defects observed from Wireline log data.

• Provide Interpretations for cement evaluation observed from Wireline log data.

• Generate log print, reports and deliver final deliverables to customer.

• Maintain timely data archiving and storage.

• Provide technical support to the marketing team and clients.

• Meet deadlines and be available for rotational 24 hour on call duty if required.

• Support Sales and Operations on daily basis

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Geosciences

• 3-7 years of related oil field experience. Preferable in open or cased hole log operation, log analysis and geology.

• Experience in the evaluation of Casing Integrity Data in the form of magnetic, acoustic and/or caliper data for the purposes of indentifying casing corrosion and other casing damage.

• Experience in the evaluation of Cement Integrity Data to evaluate cement bond quality and coverage.

• Good presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex issues.

• Be a self-starter and eager to learn in the office environment.

• Be familiar with Microsoft Office products.

• Ability to adapt positively to changes in policies, procedures, priorities or work environments.

  Mobilisation Requirements

• Based in Brisbane

• Standard work hours of 8am – 5pm

• Minimum travel requirements
