Job Description

Animal Care Responsibilities

• Able to handle strong dogs on and off the leash.
• Able to assist with the upkeep of cats feeding, watering, and cleaning litter boxes.
• Able to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Able to work with kennel disinfectants, i.e., bleach, laundry detergents and a variety of cleaning products.
• Able to lift to 50 pounds and bend, stoop, walk and stand for long periods.
• Able to follow directions.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Experience with dogs and cats is preferred. On occasion may be asked to use their own vehicle to transport animals to the doctors office.

Physical Demands.

• Go up and down stairs and stand on concrete floors for long hours.
• Frequent reaching, bending, and stooping are required.

Qualifications

• High School/equivalent diploma.
• Reliable method of travel to Thrift Store.
• Meet the position requirements and physical demands as listed.

This is a part-time position with benefits.

Salary depends on experience. Base is \$13.
