Salary: Salary depends on experience (DOE); $85,000 to DOE

Location: Boise, Idaho. As Idaho’s capital, Boise is a growing city of approximately 226,570 and serves as headquarters for several major national and international corporations. Boise offers a rich variety of both cultural and recreational opportunities. Idaho’s world-famous fly-fishing, skiing, kayaking and hiking are all within easy access. Housing costs are moderate.

Primary Duties: The successful applicant for the Deputy Attorney General position will be assigned to the Attorney General’s Special Prosecutions Unit to handle cases dealing with insurance fraud. Duties of this position include handling all aspects of insurance fraud criminal cases, from screening and charging through trial and sentencing; consulting with investigators on an as-needed basis; providing training to investigators and local insurance professionals; and appearing in courtrooms throughout Idaho.

Minimum Qualifications Duties: Must be licensed to practice law in Idaho. Periodic travel throughout Idaho is required.

Preferred Qualifications: Prosecutorial experience preferred.
