TerraPower is seeking to contract with, via agency vendor, highly motivated and forward-thinking professionals who are interested in focusing on advanced nuclear reactor research and development and influencing change within the nuclear power landscape and bringing forward the critical production of medical isotopes. Supplier Project Engineer TerraPower, LLC is seeking to hire a highly motivated Supplier Project Engineer to support the Natrium team. This individual is responsible for oversight and technical integration of supplier projects supporting the Natrium Project in conjunction with the Contract Administrator and Technical Representative. Responsibilities Develop procurement specifications as necessary to communicate supplier technical work scope. Work scope may include systems/sub-systems, equipment, components, materials, and processes. Develop statements of work (SOW) and project planning to execute supplier projects to meet program objectives. Support supplier selection activities with requests for proposals (RFPs) and team review/selection processes. Provide direction and oversight of supplier projects, working with the contract administrator to ensure delivery of data and other deliverables. Coordinate Natrium technical review process of supplier deliverables and ensure appropriate responses. Manage technical interfaces between supplier projects and interfacing projects/activities within Natrium. Provide support to contract administration and commercial activities as needed to implement projects. Review data package submittals from vendors for completeness and accuracy Maintain awareness of supplier technical capabilities, organization changes and relationships to ensure positive feedback to Natrium. Key Qualifications and Skills 8-10 years' experience developing requirements specifications, defining supplier technical work scope to include development of SOWs, RFPs and providing direction and oversight of supplier projects. Technical degree or equivalent experience relevant to power plant mechanical systems and/or electrical (I&C and Power) systems. Demonstrated skills in the technical direction of suppliers and in supporting contractual/commercial aspects of customer/supplier relationships. Experience with data packages associated with NQA-1 system and component procurements. Experience in the nuclear field is a plus. Experience in a fabrication facility setting with understanding of travelers and welding processes an asset. Previous experience in technical interface with engineering groups for review and input to supplier activities. Must have experience in writing statements of work, specifications for procurement, testing and manufacturing/fabrication.
