We are ResponsiveWe have IntegrityWe are DynamicWe exhibit Excellence PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Project management responsibilities include: Identification of program scope through development of a Program Charter Development of a program schedule and timing Product definition Program performance to include identification of required resources Oversight of program costs Product performance Product testing, configuration management and production planning and support Oversight of contract management activities Matrix Management: This position requires the individual to assist the Director in the management and direction of the matrix organization team designated to support the program Reports: This position requires the individual to assist the Director in the generation of appropriate weekly and/or monthly reports to senior management to provide the necessary information to make program business decisions Meetings and reviews: This position requires the individual to assist the Director or act in the place of the program manager in the conduct effective meetings, both internal and external, as required, to respond to customer requirements, and maintain appropriate internal project focus Written and verbal coordination: This position requires the individual to have outstanding verbal and written communication skills. It requires daily oral and written communication with the customer to understand requirements and issues and respond as appropriate. It in turn requires daily oral and written communication with the AMG program matrix team to address customer requirements and issues and direct appropriate AMG actions and responses KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with a concentration in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Program Management, or related field Minimum of 2 years of related experience, with at least 2 years leading a team Strong leadership skills and proven experience in leading a small team of professionals Solid written and verbal communication skills a must Clear and precise communication at all levels of the organization essential Strong ability to manage clients and partners Excellent organizational and presentation skills Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Solid understanding of accounting rules for expense and capital activities Detail oriented with excellent analytical, financial and spreadsheet modeling skills Must be familiar with the configuration management process Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Software: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project required Must have strong customer service, multi-tasking, organizational skills PHYSICAL EFFORT Sight: must be able to regularly read computer screen, reports, and various documents with detail and clarity to accomplish work tasks in a safe and efficient manner, including regular use of adequate close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus Hearing: must be able to regularly hear well enough to communicate Hand-Eye Coordination: must be able to regularly coordinate ones eyes with ones fingers, wrists, or arms to move, carry, or manipulate objects or to perform other job-related tasks Manual Dexterity: must be able to regularly ma
